Anthropogenic influences are known to induce ecological responses and the pivotal question is if the rate and extent of species response to stressful events enable them to persist in a changing world. Soil fauna communities are especially vulnerable because of their limited dispersal ability. This project aims to a deep understanding of phenotypic plasticity and evolutionary changes in a soil arhropod model species.
