Forschungsgebiet

  • I am an evolutionary ecologist interested in the diversity of mating systems environmental adaptations and life-history strategies. I am particularly fascinated by animals reproducing by means of spermatophores transferred via sophisticated mechanisms or deposited on the substrate. My research spans from chemical ecology to experimental evolution and currently aims to a deep understanding of life-history and stress adaptations in soil arthropods performing indirect sperm transfer.
