Shari Piro holds a Bachelor in Food Science from the University of Bonn and a Master in Food Economy from Trier University of Applied Sciences. She completed her master's thesis at Bitburger Brewery Group in the field of product development and analytical chemistry. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD at Trier University of Applied Sciences in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich and Bitburger Brewery Group as an industrial partner. Her research focuses on the Impact of environmental factors and variety on barley protein characteristics for malting and brewing with an emphasis on product quality.
