Transcriptional programming of Individual T cell Subsets - Immunoregulatory Role of Nuclear Factor of Activated T cells (NFAT) and NFAT (Teilprojekt SFB 643)

Laufzeit: 01.01.2008 - 31.12.2012

Kurzfassung

Lung cancer, including bronchoalveolar- adenocarcinoma is the major cause of death in the USA and Europe. The transcription factors nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFATs) are critical in regulating early gene transcription in response to T cell receptor mediated signals in lymphocytes. The transcription factors nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFATs) are critical in regulating early gene transcription in response to T cell receptor mediated signals in lymphocytes. In the present study, we show, in a murine bronchoalveolar adenocarcinoma, that mice lacking NFATc2 developed increased lung metastasis characterized by decreased necrosis in tumour cells as compared to those developed in the lung of the wild type littermates. We now mapped the defect on the TNF-alpha production by lung CD8+ T cells in the lung of NFATc 2(-/-) mice. » weiterlesen» einklappen
