The Enterprise of Things (EoT) Lab has two main objectives.

  • To engage in research that critically examines how the Internet of Things (IoT) is shaping business, society and local practices
  • To provide opportunities for students to develop their skills and knowledge about IoT and to gain experience with the emerging technologies and platforms

  • To provide opportunities for students to develop their skills and knowledge about IoT and to gain experience with the emerging technologies and platforms

In order to be able to participate in a world of things our students need to develop theoretical and practical knowledge about IoT technologies and their use and the analytical skills to look beyond the technology to understand its consequences and impact in business and society. To this end we have several courses and practica where students participate in learning and research projects about IoT and sociotechnical change and engage in research and development that leads to the production of ethically informed and sustainable IoT based products and services.
