The FirstAidHomes project addresses this challenge with an innovative, interdisciplinary approach: The development goal are mobile, self-erectable emergency shelters that are visually appealing, ecologically sustainable, reusable, cost-effective, space-saving storable, regionally available in the event of a crisis and which can be easily transported to the place of incident. The innovative packaging guarantees the ability to deliver them to hard-to-reach locations, worldwide. FirstAidHomes combines architectural innovation with knowledge transfer from research and practice to teaching.
