Kurzfassung

The dentistry curriculum takes a very practical approach right from the first semester onwards. The study of dentistry requires cognitive performance as well as (fine) motor skills and manual dexterity. Scientific emphasis is placed on the evaluation of the teaching: questionnaires are conducted in order to assess the students’ subjective learning progress and wire-bending exercises determine motor skills and their trainability.
