Kurzfassung

Intracerebral hemorrhages are surrounded by a zone of brain tissue which may secondarily die. Purpose of the study is to evaluate the role of the thrombin system in this process. Wild-type and conditional thrombin knock-out mice will be used in a mouse model of intracerebral hemorrhage.
