Demographic change results in an increase of patients 80 years presenting with symptomatic urolithiasis. With regard to comorbidities and elevated risks for complications of this vulnerable cohort, it is still under question, whether these patients should be treated according to standard care for younger patients or if adapted treatment strategies would be required
