Kurzfassung

The sensitivity to parenchymal phase- and susceptibility is best proven with MR gradient echo- phase-imaging, concerning ferritin- and myelin content of the gray matter. In numerous neurodegenerative and inflammatory diseases brain parenchyma is involved by changes of the ferritin-content (i.a. M Parkinson, Alzheimer disease, multiple sclerosis). The target is to evaluate the proportion of ferritin-concentration of the gray matter with age and gender.
