Kurzfassung

We have recently shown that perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT) plays an important role in regulating vascular function. Endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) is expressed in PVAT and in adipocytes. Diet-induced obesity leads to dysfunction of PVAT eNOS.In this Stufe-I-project, we want to decipher the molecular mechanisms underlying the obesity-induced dysfunction of adipocyte eNOS.
