Kurzfassung

The ongoing loss of biodiversity is a major problem of modern humankind. While our knowledge on the conservation status of vertebrates is quite good, the conservation status of invertebrates is largely unknown. In our project, we asses the IUCN Red List status of selected groups of invertebrates to obtain a better understanding on the status of these species, their trends as well as the major threats and their distribution.
