We provide an overview of the phytotelm-breeding anurans from Borneo. Besides the direct-developing tadpoles of Philautus, also the larvae of eleven frog species with free-swimming tadpoles have been recorded in phytotelms so far. Observations on additional species indicate that the number of phytotelm-breeders might be still higher.
