It is intended to help young people gain access to technology, computer sciences and the engineering world as well as to nourish the future demands for young technicians in order to enable the attendees to participate in an increasingly technological society. After 16 years of practices and experiences in Germany the technikcamps project was invited 2018 by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to consult and help implementing a quite similar robotics summer school program in Rwanda.
