The microstructure of sputtered amorphous thin films is very sensitive to ambient conditions during preparation. We report on structural and electronic properties of (Mo0.6Ru0.4)0.85B0.15- and Zr0.9Si0.1-films, especially on the diffusivity of the electrons and the Coulomb interaction. These two parameters are crucial for the transport properties and superconductivity in highly disordered systems.
