The author argues that only few among the persons named in the accounts of Papyrus Boulaq 18 were court officials who accompanied the king on his trip from the northern residence. Specifically southern Upper Egyptian names and titles suggest that the majority of the persons named were members of the local administration, permanently residing in Thebes.
